COMMUNITY DARKROOM 517

Community Darkroom 517 provides film enthusiasts access to a safe, well-sustained darkroom, fosters education in film processing and darkroom techniques, facilitates mentorships, and provides outreach to the community through shows and exhibits.

Welcome to Community Darkroom 517

Lansing’s home for film photography, offering one of the only fully equipped community darkrooms in the area. Community Darkroom 517 is volunteer-run and based out of East Lansing High School. We host open lab nights every other Thursday from 6-9 PM and offer scheduled education and workshops. Whether you’re developing your first roll or an experienced analog photographer, we’ve got the space, tools, and community to support your work
